Found: in Victoria
Studio: One Yoga Victoria
Class: all levels Vinyasa
Instructor: Natalie Wright
The neighbourhood: The studio is in the historic James Bay region, the oldest residential neighbourhood on the west coast of North America. Just blocks from downtown Victoria and its scenic harbour, the studio is close to the provincial Parliament Buildings, local coffee shops and many must-try restaurants.
The studio: It’s brand new, and has a west coast spa meets rootsy vibe. It boasts sustainable and reclaimed building materials.
What I took with me from the practice: The instructor’s words, “We are the ancestors of the future.”
Post-class pick-me-up: Be Love for local, vegan and organic coffee, juice, delicious food, etc.! I recommend the Green Gingerale.
