how we wear it: the flip your dog onesie

One piece, one outfit. We’re talking about the Flip Your Dog Onesie. Oh yes, you heard right—onesie (aka the top and bottom are joined together in one easy breezy outfit). We asked our women’s junior buyer (and stylist extraordinaire) Tabitha Vallierie just what’s so good about this fuss-free flow-and-go piece.
HOW WE WEAR IT
The best part about this piece is it stands alone and looks put together with no effort required at all. Wear it with a bra that has a beautiful back (Free To Be Bra is our top choice) and slip on flats for an easy athletic look. Or, throw on a structured jacket, let the front of the tank hang loose, and add ankle booties to carry you into the evening.
What are you wearing it for?
I’m absolutely taking this puppy to class where inversions will be no big deal since the tank stays in place with every move. It’s the perfect piece to carry you from a morning class into a full day of running around.
Why is it great for a transitional season like spring or fall?
It’s great because you still need and want the coverage in the tight, but it gives you the flexibility to layer up or down with a cardigan, jacket or pullover depending on what the weather decides to do that day.
It’s a tight race between the leggings—the shine tight finish mixed with the split seam at the ankle—or the gorgeous low back of the tank. You can’t get that kind of cut happening in a tank unless you plan on flashing everyone or fussing with it all class!
