I am not flexible. Do you think I can still do yoga? I’m a runner, but I hear yoga is a great way to work on endurance! Adam (@adamgiers – question received via twitter)

Absolutely! You are a perfect candidate for yoga. Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis in order to take tennis lessons. Come as you are and you will find that a yoga practice will help you become more flexible. It will also greatly increase your lung capacity.
Running can create many imbalances due to repetitive motion, and yoga is ideal for helping to find a balance.
